Dr. Batya Lerner

Dr. Batya Lerner graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brooklyn College, where she received numerous awards, including induction into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and being regularly named to the Dean’s List.

 

She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Continuing her training, she completed a program at the National Health Service Corps, for which she received a citation from U.S. President Ronald Reagan. After still more education and training she became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).   A teacher as well as a learner, she has also taught Oral Medicine at the NYU College of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Lerner’s extensive education and her passion for learning allow her to stay informed of new techniques and the latest products available to dentistry.  

She has the training and knowledge to be able to evaluate what is scientifically valid and what is not.  Focused on how a person’s overall health impacts oral health, she encourages her patients to adopt good nutrition and exercise in order to have optimum total health.

 

For over 35 years Dr. Lerner has lived in Crown Heights, where she raised her family.  Her love and devotion to dentistry influenced her oldest daughter to follow in her footsteps and also become a dentist with an outstanding reputation.
